Dawn Garrett has a Bachelors Degree of Music and a Masters Degree of Music in Clarinet Performance from Western Michigan University and additional graduate studies from Arizona State University.  She has performed with the Southwest Michigan Symphony, Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, South Bend Symphony (IN), Elkhart County Symphony (IN), Sun City Symphony Orchestra (AZ), Battle Creek Symphony, and the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra Woodwind Quintet.  Dawn has a private studio where she has been teaching clarinet for over 25 years.
