New York, NY Winter Away: New York Arts (ST)

By participating in the program, you will be immersed in various opportunities to explore the arts in New York City. All participants will be placed in an internship with a professional artist in the area of media, performing, or visual arts. A Program Area Studies course is taken throughout the program that provides you with a background of arts in New York and place to discuss the arts with classmates, professionals, and faculty. You are also encouraged to build on your own creative works through a reflective journal that is a collection of personal experiences, observations, and discoveries.
