Margaret Hamilton

Margaret is Assistant Principal Horn of the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, as well as a member of West Michigan BrassWorks, a brass quintet founded in 2014. She served as Executive Director of the Stulberg International String Competition from 2013 to 2020. From 1987 to 2012; she was Assistant Director for the School of Music at Western Michigan University and Advising Director for WMU’s College of Fine Arts. She also performed with the Western Wind Quintet, a resident faculty ensemble, from 1994-2010. Margaret holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, Susquehanna University and a Master of Music in Applied Horn, Western Michigan University.
