Marissa Klee-Peregon is an interdisciplinary artist who works in soft sculpture, painting and drawing, and installation. Her work deals with how meaning is made, communicated, and interpreted. Marissa graduated from Wellesley College with a B.A. in Studio Art and Art History. She has participated in The Birdsell Project Residency in South Bend, Indiana, and the Post Baccalaureate Residency at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. Her work has been supported by a Kalamazoo Artistic Development Initiative Grant and a Wellesley College Friends of Art Prize.

Marissa is a member of Kalamazoo Collective Housing (KCH), a cooperatively owned and run affordable housing organization. At KCH, Marissa has served on more committees than she can count, including the Conflict Resolution Committee and the Board of Directors. When not at the office or in the studio, she can generally be found at a co-op meeting.
