Dr. Greg Bassett, a native of Detroit, takes over conducting the Academy Street Winds for it’s 2024-25 season. He currently resides in Holland, but before moving back to Michigan, he was the music director of several groups in the Cleveland, OH area, and performed in ensembles such as the Olympic Brass Quintet, Cleveland Opera Orchestra and Erie Philharmonic.
